PVC-U adapter with a solvent-weld socket on one side and a female (internal) thread on the other, for joining an ASTM pipe to male-threaded fittings. Made by Finolex to ASTM D 2467 (Schedule 80) for its ASTM plumbing pipes. Listed in sizes from ½" to 4".
